22.11.2018  Volunteers are preparing for the «Russia and Hansa» media forum at the House of Journalists

On November 20, a master class of journalism of Hansa for the volunteer students of Novgorod State University was held at the Novgorod House of Journalists. This is the first course of a series of preparation for the «Russia and Hansa» media forum, which will be held in Veliky Novgorod on January 10-11, 2019. Eight 1-4 year students of the NovSU Department of Journalism showed their willingness to participate in this project as volunteers. A master class for students was held by the Russia and Hansa media forum project leader, President of the Hanseatic Press Club HANSA-MEDIA, journalist Svetlana Lebedeva and head of the executive directorate of the Union of Russian Hanseatic cities Vladimir Orlov.

One of the tasks assigned to the volunteers - to monitor the media of the cities of the Russian Hansa in order to identify the use of the Hanseatic brand to promote the image of cities in terms of tourism, development of creative and business activity of residents, to strengthen inter-municipal and international cooperation. The participants received the necessary information, discussed the forms of interaction with the organizers, and distributed tasks. Tatiana Kaminskaya, head of the NovSU Department of Journalism, and a member of the working group on the preparation and holding of the Russia and Hansa media forum, took part in the discussion.

The project of the Hanseatic media forum "Russia and the Hansa" is implemented using a grant from the President of the Russian Federation for the development of civil society provided by the Presidential Grants Foundation.
