11.09.2015  Students from the US and German partner universities will study at NovSU

This academic year within the framework of cooperation agreements NovSU accepts international students who have come to Veliky Novgorod to become a part of the Russian university for one or two semesters.

The first priority goal of Kyle Chapman and Brandon Cortina, the fourth-year students from Appalachian University (USA), is to study the Russian language. Brandon Cortina, who in 2014 was a participant of the Russian Language Summer School at Novgorod State University, decided to continue his education and came to the Preparatory Department for International Students for the entire academic year. As for Kyle Chapman, it is his first visit to Russia and he is interested not only in the Russian language, but in the peculiarities of Russian business. During the fall semester, he will attend classes at School of Economics and Management. In addition, both the students are interested in student self-government and they intend to take an active part in the University’s student life.

NovSU Philology Faculty will Nina Henke, a student from the University of Hildesheim, who will study here for a semester within the framework of the educational program "Double Diploma" in Linguistics.

Shortly, a student from the Bielefeld University (Germany) will come to the NovSU School of Humanities for her internship.
