14.04.2015 Further involvement of NovSU students in the "Campus Europe" project was discussed today
As we reported before, on April 13-17, the Secretary General of the Association of European Universities "Campus Europae", Christoph Ehmann is visiting NovSU.
Today, on April 14, he met with the Vice-Rector for
NovSU International Affairs, prof. Mikhail Pevzner. Among the main topics of the
discussion was the further development of the "Campus Europae" project
and prospective opportunities of NovSU in it. "We were talking about how
to use the new financial opportunities of the European Union to support
academic mobility of NovSU students and further participation of NovSU in the
Association “Campus Europae”. Well, as known, now lots of administrative
barriers appeared that we want to overcome including with the aid of our
association, "- said Christophe Ehmann.
Note that the project "Campus Europe" aims to help students
to realize that they are not only the citizens of their country, but also of
Europe as a whole. Over the years of studentship they must learn the
"unity in diversity" combining received academic knowledge and present,
19 universities of 15 European countries and 2 Universities of Russia – NovSU
and SPbSU - are included in the association "Campus Europae". On
the coming days, Christophe Ehmann will hold a series of workshops on the
topic "Social Work" for the students of the NovSU School of
