19.09.2016  A seminar with the participation of scientists from Japan was held at the Department of Designing and Technology of Radio Equipment

The international seminar “Appliance of Multiferroics” was held at the Department of Designing and Technology of Radio Equipment last Friday, 16 September, as a part of joint grant of the Russian Foundation for Basic Research “Russia-Japan”.

Participants of the seminar presented fruits of their work, got acquainted with designing and new technologies which would be used in creation of electromagnetic SHF devices and discussed plans of filing the joint grant.

During the seminar the following reports were debriefed:

  • “SHF Antennas Based on Multiferroics” by associate professor Roman Petrov,
  • “Electromagnetic SHF Devices” by associate professor Alexander Tatarenko, 
  • “Simulation of Miltiferroic Structures” by post-graduate student Alexander Nikitin,
  • "Technologies of Multiferroics" by Dr. Satoshi Tomita of Nara Institute of Science and Technology (Japan), 
  • "Optical Effect and Symmetry Violation” by Dr. Kei Sawada of research institute RIKEN (Japan), Mr. Toshiyuki Kodama of Nara Institute of Science and Technology (Japan).
