12.03.2014 New international partner of NovSU
On March 11, the Partnership Agreement between NovSU and Faculty of
History and Pedagogy of the Opole University (Poland) was signed.
The purpose of this Agreement is to assist to educational and scientific
cooperation and to make exchange of students possible as a part of both
universities’ activity.
The Agreement covers the following areas of cooperation:
- Exchange of
information, literature, textbooks and other publication produced by both
Sides;
- Conducting joint
research relating to the mutual historical and cultural heritage of Russia and
Poland;
- Joint printed
and electronic publications;
- Joint
publications on topical issues in the research field of history, psychology,
sociology and political science of Russia and Poland;
- Electronic
publication (electronic books) of jointly developed textbooks and collections
of scientific papers;
- Discussion of
research results at joint meetings, seminars and conferences in Opole and
Veliky Novgorod;
- Faculty members
exchange for implementation of joint research projects, conferences and
seminars at both institutions;
- Assistance in faculty
member training by means of scientific
consulting and presentation of theses in both universities;
- Assistance to
researchers and postgraduates in organization of intrenship during a term for
research and education as well as for studying Polish and Russian languages,
history and culture;
- Co-management of
master and doctoral research;
- Student groups
exchange in the form of short educational visits and organization of students
conferences;
- Joint actions oriented to getting financing for
realization of the Agreement clauses.
