14.05.2015 A representative of the NovSU Student Union took part in international patriotic events in Belorussia On the eve of the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the World War II, a representative of the NovSU Ludmila Babarkina took part in international patriotic events in Belorussia. The two-day International conference of leaders of youth organizations “Young People of the XXI Century against War” started its work on 4 May in the Belorussian State University. It was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory’s celebration. The forum gathered over 100 leaders of public organizations and student self-government authorities of Belorussian, Azeri, German, Kazakhstan and Russian universities. Young people expressed their view against present-day wars on our planet through cooperation in this international project. There were four sections within the framework of the Conference: “Modern Leader: From a Young Leader to an Effective Manager”, “Social Networks: Ban or Let Go”, “Student Government: Experience and Innovations” and “Youth Policy: German Experience”. In addition, the round-table discussion “Citizenship and Patriotism in Modern Multicultural World: Youth and Government” was held. On 6-8 May, International student’s forum “Great Victory’s Light” took place at Sport and Health Complex “Brigantine” of the Belorussian State University (Minsk region). More than 200 representatives of student organizations of Azerbaijan, Belorussia, Germany, Kazakhstan and Russia participated in the work of the forum. It started off laying of wreath to “Hero City of Minsk” stele. The program of the Forum was information-intensive: there was a round table where the experience of patriotic youth education in modern conditions was exchanged. Thematic sections “Girls at War”, “I Survived to Tell You about That”, “Family During the World War II: Trial and Overcoming”, “Photographer at War”, “Truth and False about Great Patriotic War” were also functioning there. Debates “Guerilla Movement”, an intellectual game of the “VS-Club” on history of the War, the concert of popular and well-known melodies of wartime were in the program of the Forum. English |
