31.10.2016  NovSU international students took part in the interregional festival – “People’s Friendship”

Last Friday, on October 28, the interregional festival of ethnic cultures called “People’s Friendship” was held in a village Volot (Novgorod region). This festival has been held for the second time.

Novgorod State University in the person of Deputy Vice-rector for Social Development and Educational Work rendered support and help in organizing and holding the event.   

Besides, representatives of the Republic of Cote d’Ivoire and Syrian Republic: Axel, Assavat Rogekh and Arar Khadi performed at the concert. Students from Cote d’Ivoire performed African folk songs, and the Syrians played national Arabian instruments. 

According to the participants, the audience was thrilled with the performance they saw. International students were not let go from the stage for a long time and after the concert program had finished, people lined up to take commemorative photoes with them.
