13.05.2017  The Students of the NovSU Medical College celebrated the International Nurses Day

On 11 May, the day before the International Nurses Day, the celebration event “Thank You, Nurse!” was held at the NovSU Medical College.

Senior students performed the literature-and-musical composition before the freshmen. During the performance, they told about the origin of the nursing profession, the history of its development in Russia and abroad, outstanding nurses, the bravery the nurses demonstrated during the World War II. “We wanted to show that being a nurse is not just a job, but a mission,” – the students commented on their performance.

Almost 500 people are studying at the NovSU Medical College, more than a half of them are majoring in Nursing Care to become nurses, which are in high demand on modern labour market.
