Host of the Conference - the NovSU School of Economics, Management and Law. 

The conference will be held in Veliky Novgorod on 4-5 December 2019. Full and Absentee Participation Forms are available.

The Objective of the Conference

The International Scientific and Practical Conference "Modern Tools for Sustainable Development of Territories” is a scientific and practical event focused on the integration of research in the field of regional economy, system economy, public administration, management and project management.

The practical focus of the conference is to formulate recommendations for regional development policy and to bring together representatives of public authorities, business, civil society and the scientific and educational community for this purpose. The special topic of the conference 2019 is “Project Management in the Regions of Russia".  The relevance of this issue is due to both its applied importance and insufficient study in the context of general patterns of regional development, considered in the unity of economic and managerial aspects. The problem of sustainability and effectiveness of project management in territorial development is one of the most important tasks of theoretical and methodological support of the Russian economy.

Important Dates

• Paper Submission Deadline (application, the text of an article):  01 June 2019.
• Payment of Registration fee Deadline (16000 rubles) after receiving of an article acceptance letter:  15 September 2019.
• Distribution of Invitations for Full Participation: 10 November 2019.

The range of the main issues of the event involves consideration of the following thematic blocks:

1. State – region – industry – enterprise –system stability frame of the Russian economy. The concept of sustainable development as a philosophy of modern society development.
2. Impact of national projects on sustainable territorial development.
3. Focus on the effectiveness of the use of budgetary funds in the regions of the Russian Federation. Project financing and strategic development.
4. The role of universities in the projects of territorial development.
5. Project management in the real sector of the economy and the development of system management.

Participants of the Conference can submit their papers  for the publication in “The European Proceedings of Social & Behavioural Sciences (EpSBS)”, the journal indexed in the scientometric base of Web of Science. The articles recommended by the conference program committee will be accepted for publication.
