24.10.2018  Students of the NovSU School of Electronic and Information systems made an excursion to St. Petersburg

On Sunday, October 21, students of the NovSU School of Electronic and Information systems took a tour in St. Petersburg. The trip, including meal, was absolutely free of charge.

The program included: sightseeing bus-walking tour of the city, Kazan and St. Isaac's Cathedrals, Peter and Paul Fortress and the Russian Museum of Ethnography.

As the organizers noted, many young people, who had visited the Kazan and St. Isaac's Cathedrals for the first time, were surprised by the story of how the painting of the domes of St. Isaac's Cathedral was carried out. Especially vivid impressions, according to the students, remained with them from the Russian Museum of Ethnography: the greatest interest was the exposition and the story about the life of the peoples of the North, about how people built boats out of wood in the conditions of eternal cold, which served to some extent even as icebreakers, as they went out to sea for fish. They also remembered the miniatures, which were made on the teeth of seals.
