22.03.2017  NovSU students –psychologists arranged an art-therapeutic studio for school students

On March 21, an art-therapeutic studio was held at the Department of Psychology as a part of Days of Science (the moderator of the section: the senior lecturer of Psychology Elena Petrova).

More than 20 students took part in the studio’s work. They are the students of the 4th year of the Department of Psychology and the students of 8, 9, 10 grades of the secondary school #2. 

The students-psychologists prepared and demonstrated the art-therapeutic technologies that are used in the work of a psychologist, such as a drawing, a collage, a modeling and figurative cards. 

Being engaged in such creative work, school students got to know themselves better, learned how to set goals and priorities in their life, and, therefore, became acquainted with their real personality. 

All works will be presented at the exhibition "In Search of Yourself" at the Department of Psychology. 

In addition, this event was professionally-oriented. School students learned more about how a psychologist-practitioner worked.
