17.09.2013  Meeting of Student's Labor Groups in Pesochki

On 14–15 September, a regional Meeting of student's labor groups took place in "Pesochki" camp (he Novgorod region, Soletsky district, Pesochki village), - reports Culture and Tourism Department of Veliky Novgorod.

Members and veterans of student's labor groups of Veliky Novgorod, Borovichi and Staraya Russa participated in the meeting. During two days, they took part in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, contests, presentation of groups, "Mr. and Ms. of the Meeting of Student's Labor Groups 2013" competition, and dancing marathon "Go and Dance". Students sang student's songs, shared impressions on how a labor season gone by, spoke about their success and plans for the next labor season.

Organization of the work of student's labor groups in various spheres - construction, education, service and train attendant groups – is one of the priority objectives of youth policy in Novgorod region.

The regional autonomous institution «Dom Molodyozhy», Novgorod regional office of the youth all-Russian public organization «Russian Student’s Groups» with support of Department of Education, Science and Youth Policy of the Novgorod region, and Yaroslav-the-Wise Novgorod State University annually organize the Meetings of Student’s Labor Groups.

Since 2007, 3056 young people attended the school of labor life in the Novgorod region.
