20.10.2016 Students of the NovSU School of Medical Education participated in the 27th European student conference in Berlin At the beginning of October, Croak Nome Daniel and Amankva Joel Oti (Ghana), the students of the NovSU School of Medical Education, participated in the 27th European Student Conference in Berlin. The conference was devoted to resistance to antimicrobic medicines, infections prevention and treatment. The number of infections grow in the world every year. Government institutions and community joint actions are necessary for control of infections. In their report executed under the leadership of teachers of Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases, NovSU students presented the latest statistical data of the whole world on this problem. They suggested following current laws and regulations to controll resistance to antimicrobic medicines. Daniel and Joel plan to organize a number of seminars together with Department of Microbiology, Immunology and Infectious Diseases to increase awareness of students, medical personnel and community on resistance to antimicrobic medicines.
