03.04.2013 The first night of the play “Winter Won’t Come” in NovSU Polytechnic College On 2nd April the first night of the play “Winter Won’t Come” took place in NovSU Polytechnic College auditorium. Annually on World Theatre Day, the troop of the drama school “Parallel” (The Cultural and Entertainment Centre “Yunost” (“Youth”) shows a new play. This year, the school’s repertoire was refreshed with the 21th play. This play is a modern parable written by V. Olshansky in 2005. Issues of homeless children and adults’ life, such as loneliness, love, hope, betrayal and many others, were touched through characters’ nature and their interrelations. The core idea of the play is that winter will recede if melted by characters’ warm-heartedness and emotional bond, and mutual tolerance. After the first run of the play no one remained indifferent, there was a storm of prolonged applause. All the actors got flowers and lots of appreciations from impressed audience. English |
