16.09.2015 Students from Germany will do their practical training at Novgorod enterprises On 15 September in the conference hall of the NovSU main building, students of Rudolph Rempel College (Bielefeld, Germany) met with Vice-Rector for NovSU International Affairs Mikhail Pevzner, the Head of the Office of International Relations Natalia Shaydorova, the Chiefs of practical work and their German colleagues to acquaint with our university. The Ralph Rempel College students will take their educational and industrial practice on 13-25 September. German delegation - ten students and two professors - came to Veliky Novgorod on the ground of the Cooperation Agreement between the NovSU and the College. The students are going to live in the families of their NovSU peers who had the same practice in Germany last November. It is planned that students from Bielefeld will study the experience of the following Russian enterprises: “Meusburger-Novtrak” producing towed vehicles, “Saueressig” producing printing cylinders for intaglio print and flexographic printing forms, “Columba” travel agency, and “Deka” producing kvas (mildly alcoholic drink made from fermented rye bread, yeast or berries), beer and mineral water. The cooperation between two educational institutions has been lasting for eight years already. According to the Director of the NovSU Scientific and Educational Economical Projects Centre Anna Vetkina, the students get invaluable experience of communication, tolerance. They also become familiar with traditions of other countries and nationalities. NovSU students have an opportunity to see how the foreign companies work; adopt their methods that gives them chance to get a deserving job. During two weeks, German students will not only do their practical training; they will visit the theology-educational center “The Purification of Virgin Mary in Antonovo” (Sreteniya in Antonovo), and ttend lessons of German. In addition, they will go for sightseeing tour to Saint Petersburg. English |
