10.10.2013  On-line master class for ­NovSU School of Medical Education students and faculty members

On 8 October, the local hospital physicians, NovSU School of Medical Education faculty members and resident physician took part in “Modern Methods of Hysteromyoma Treatment” workshop, which was held as a teleconference. 

The organizers were: Almazov Federal Heart, Blood and Endocrinology Centre and Gedeon Richter Plc. NovSU School of Medical Education Laboratory of Medical-Information Technologies provided technical organization and support of the teleconference (Head of the laboratory – Renat Zalilov).

 During the master class two operations were demonstrated:

• Endometreosis operative therapy. The surgery was performed by Komlichenko M. D., head of department at North-Western State Medical University named after I.I. Mechnikov and deputy head physician for perinatal medicine and pediatry of the Almazov Federal Centre.
• Laparoscopic myomectomy. The surgery performed Bezhenar M. D., prof., D.O. the head of operative gynecology department of Otto Research Institute of Obstetrics and Gynecology. 

Professor Bezhenar delivered a lecture “Innovative Approach to Hysteromyoma Treatment” before the operation.
