Gender Cross Cultures (2,5 cr., offered on request)

Course Aim:  To explore gender roles as patterned by different cultures
Course Objectives:
 –   contrast  the biological, psychological, and social origins of sex  and gender role differences across cultures in order to evaluate the effects of power differences on sex and gender relations;
–   see and empathize with systems of sex and gender oppression to promote equality across person and place.
