“The Permanent Assets: New Way of Life” webinar took place at NovSU School of Economics and Management for the first time. Organizers of the webinar: NovSU School of Economics and Management, NovSU School of Further Education, Interregional Centre of Further Vocational Education “Faculty of Business”, Novgorod Territorial Institute of Professional Accountants.

About 70 people took part in the event, including the 5th year students of the Accounting and Finance Faculty. The consultant on accounting and tax records, professional accountant, PhD in economics, assistant professor Marina Klimova (Moscow) covered the focal point in her presentation. Changes in legislation concerning asset capitalization, recognition, and amortization, as well as a draft of new Accounting Regulations “Lease Accounting” were discussed during the webinar.

The participants of the webinar gave a positive feedback to innovative way the seminar was conducted.
