18.09.2009  Delegation of the University of Bielefeld (Germany) arrived to Veliky Novgorod.

Three representatives of the University of Bielefeld (our sister city) - Prof., Dr. Dieter Timmermann,  the Rector,  Prof., Dr. Isabell Diehm, the Dean of   Faculty of Pedagogy,  and Dr. Thomas Lüttenberg, the Head of  the International Office arrived to visit the Novgorod State University and participate in the activities, devoted to the 1150th anniversary of Veliky Novgorod.

During their visit, the German colleagues will meet with Prof., Dr. Viktor Veber, the Rector of NovSU, Prof., Dr. Anatoly Gavrikov, the President of NovSU, Prof., Dr. Mikhail Pevzner, the Vice-Rector for International Affairs, Prof., Dr. Alexander Shirin, the Director of the Institute of Continuous Pedagogical Education, and Dr.  Irina Alexashenkova, the Head of the Department of International Affairs.

On September 19, the delegation will visit the Institute of Continuous Pedagogical Education to discuss with its administration the ways of expansion of cooperation between the Faculty of Pedagogy of the University of Bielefeld and the Faculty of Psychology and Pedagogy of the NovSU.
