On 25 December, the university New Year’s costume ball took place in the pillared hall of Anton Arensky Philharmonic Hall.

 This event was organized for the fourth time. The program included  two parts:

• The ballroom dances:  polonaise and waltz; acquaintance with the fundamental rules of ball etiquette, “the fan language”, etc. Some performances of Novgorod professional groups are also expected.
   
• The dance-and-play programme with competitions and quizzes.
