The most comfortable way to get from Moscow to Veliky Novgorod is by train. There are two ways to do it.

First: Two cities are connected by a passing “Nizhny Novgorod – Veliky Novgorod” train. It departures daily at 10:09 p.m. from Kursky railway station in Moscow and nearly 8 hours later arrives in Veliky Novgorod. Second: To get from Moscow to Veliky Novgorod this way you should use speed trains. You need to buy “Sapsan” tickets from Moscow to Chudovo-Moskovskoe. When you arrive at Chudovo-Moskovskoe, you should change for electric train “Lastochka” which goes to Veliky Novgorod. Travel time is just over 1 hour. Saint-Petersburg → Veliky Novgorod

There are several ways to get from Saint-Petersburg to Veliky Novgorod.

 Speed Electric Train “Lastochka”:

Departures take place daily from 7:00 a.m. to 2 a.m. almost every hour. Average travel time is 2,5-3 hours. Regular bus:
