Храм святого князя Александра Невского на военном кладбище в Минске. Архитектурный проект Виктора Фомичева в фонде дворцовых библиотек РГБ

Статья посвящена малоизвестному архитектурному проекту храма во имя св. блгв. кн. Александра Невского, выстроенному на Военном кладбище в Минске после кончины Государя Императора Александра III. Чертежи, обнаруженные в фонде Дворцовых библиотек Отдела рукописей РГБ (Ф. 492. Ед. хр. 330. кон. 90-х гг. XIX в.), позволяют предполагать, что существует фактическая ошибка, связанная с подменой имен архитекторов, один из которых строил, а другой проектировал храм. И хотя традиционно проектирование и возведение храма-памятника в самом Минске прочно связывается с именем Виктора Струева (1864—1924), чертежи фонда Дворцовых библиотек Российской государственной библиотеки прочно связывают данный проект с именем Виктора Фомичева, посвятившему свой проект Государю Императору Александру III.

The Church of St. Prince Alexander Nevsky at the Military Cemetery in Minsk. Architectural project by Victor Fomichev in the RSL Palace Libraries Foundation

The article is devoted to the little-known architectural project of the church in the name of St. Alexander Nevsky, built at the Military Cemetery in Minsk after the death of the Emperor Alexander III. The drawings found in the fund of the Palace Libraries of the Department of Manuscripts of the of the Russian State Library (F. 492. Archival unit 330. The end of 90-ies of the 19^th century) suggest that there is a factual error associated with the substitution of the names of the architects who built and designed the temple. And although traditionally the design and construction of the memorial temple in Minsk itself is strongly associated with the name of Viktor Struyev (1864—1924), the drawings of the fund of the Palace Libraries of the Russian State Library strongly associate this project with the name of Viktor Fomichev, who dedicated the memorial temple to the Sovereign Emperor Alexander III. Contrary to the tendentious perception of monuments of palace and temple architecture formed in Soviet times, in a break with the names of Russian Emperors and their Heavenly Patrons, the discovered drawings restore the connection with the Reigning House, restoring the Russian shrines to their originally inherent high patronage.
