Из истории «Великой депрессии»: падение «спичечного короля» И.Крюгера и финансово-промышленная группа семьи Валленберг

Фигура Ивара Крюгера, несомненно, заслуживает внимания, отчасти из-за его авантюристического подхода в деловой сфере. Создание компании в сфере производства спичек через займы, смелые инвестиционные решения и громкую рекламу сделали И.Крюгера монополистом в сфере производства спичек в самой Швеции, а затем и международным производителем, контролировавшим две трети мирового спичечного бизнеса. Деятельность И.Крюгера рассматривается в настоящей статье и с точки зрения ее влияния на судьбу семьи Валленберг. Период начала XX в. определил судьбу финансово-промышленной группы династии Валленбергов, а также повлиял на роль «Стокгольмс Эншильда банкен» в экономической жизни Швеции. Несмотря на то, что в 20-х гг. XX в. банк семьи Валленберг стойко выдержал серьезнейший финансовый кризис и постепенно начинал развиваться в качестве трансрегиональной организации, именно события 1930-х гг. и крах «спичеченого короля» повлияли на укрепление позиций банка в экономической жизни Швеции, а также других государств, выходящих за пределы скандинавского региона.

The history of the Great depression: the fall of the match king I.Kreuger and the role of the Wallenberg's financial and industrial group

The figure of Ivar Kreuger deserves attention due to his adventurous approach in the business field. The creation of a company in the field of production of matches through loans, bold investment decisions and high-profile advertising made I.Kreuger a monopolist in the production of matches in Sweden itself, and then an international manufacturer that controlled two-thirds of the world match business. The activity of I.Kreuger is considered in this article from the point of view of its influence on the fate of the Wallenberg family as well. The period of the beginning of the XX century determined the fate of the financial and industrial group of the Wallenberg dynasty, and also influenced the role of Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken in the economic life of Sweden. Despite the fact that in the 20s of the XX century, the bank of the Wallenberg family stood firm in the face of the most serious financial crisis and gradually began to develop as a trans-regional organization, it was the events of the 1930s and the collapse of the match king that influenced the strengthening of the bank's position in the economic life of Sweden, and also of other states outside the Scandinavian region.
