ARTISTIC AND AESTHETIC PERCEPTION OF THE URBAN ARCHITECTURAL IDENTITY: THE VISUAL SEMIOTIC PATTERNS OF OLD FACADES IN KALININGRAD

Abstract. This scientific paper is devoted to the problem of perceiving the architectural urban environment as a comprehensive platform for multi-layered cultural communication and artistic expression. The research’s relevance lies in actualizing and performing the idea of providing a dialogue between an artist and a city. The research purpose is to scientifically substantiate and present the project concept dedicated to generation of urban architecture image identified in a collaboration with artists. The methodology is based on the conceptual research model which describes the architectural urban identity through an artistic perceptive way. The scientific paper confirms the important role of architectural urban identity in the construction of the holistic city image and constructing interpersonal interactions. Research investigations are proved with the realized project concept – an international collaborative artistic project devoted to identifying the image of Kaliningrad’s walls.

ХУДОЖЕСТВЕННО-ЭСТЕТИЧЕСКОЕ ВОСПРИЯТИЕ ГОРОДСКОЙ АРХИТЕКТУРНОЙ ИДЕНТИЧНОСТИ: ВИЗУАЛЬНЫЕ СЕМИОТИЧЕСКИЕ ПАТТЕРНЫ СТАРЫХ ФАСАДОВ В КАЛИНИНГРАДЕ

Аннотация. Статья посвящена проблеме восприятия архитектурной городской среды как комплексной платформы для многоуровневой культурной коммуникации и художественного самовыражения. Актуальность исследования заключается в реализации идеи диалога между художником и городом. Цель исследования – научно обосновать и представить концепцию проекта, посвящённого формированию образа городской архитектуры, выявленного в процессе взаимодействия с художниками. Методология основана на концептуальной модели исследования, которая описывает архитектурную городскую идентичность через художественное восприятие индивида. В научной статье подтверждается значимость роли архитектурной городской идентичности в построении целостного образа города и конструировании межличностных взаимодействий. Результаты исследования апробированы реализованной концепцией международного совместного художественного проекта, посвящённого выявлению семиотического образа стен Калининграда.
